Job description & preferred qualifications:
Sunset Canyon Baptist Church in Dripping Springs, TX is looking for an interim, part-time youth minister with a passion for Christ and kids to lead our growing and vibrant youth ministry. This interim minister will lead students from 6th to 12th grades in worship/bible study on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. In addition, he or she will participate in specific youth events and meet with our Youth Ministry Team on a monthly basis to plan student activities, events, and ministry direction. It is expected that this role will require a minimum of 15 hours per week but 20 to 30 hours per week is preferred. Previous youth ministry leadership experience is preferred and musical abilities are a plus but not required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
